Rxthe prescription

Unbiased Amazon picks. No sponsorships, no bestseller bait.

We don't take brand money. We don't get sent free product. We don't pick the bestseller because it's the bestseller. We pick the right product for your exact situation.

What "unbiased" actually means

Most Amazon recommendation sites take brand deals, accept PR samples, or list products by affiliate commission tier. We don't. Our only commercial relationship is the standard Amazon Associates program — same as a personal blog. Every recommended product is recommended because it's the right answer, not because anyone paid us.

Why bestsellers aren't best

Bestsellers are bestsellers because of marketing budget, page-one Amazon placement, and review-padding. The actual best product in a category often has 1/10th the reviews of the bestseller. We pick on merit, not popularity.

How we stay independent

No brand relationships. No PR samples. No paid placements. The only money we accept is the Amazon Associates commission, which is identical regardless of which product we recommend.

Frequently asked questions

Are you actually independent?+

Yes. We're an Amazon Associate (same as countless blogs) — that's our only commercial relationship. We don't have brand contracts.

Why do you link to Amazon then?+

Because Amazon is where most people buy. The commission funds the service so we can keep it free.

Would you ever recommend a competitor to Amazon?+

If we did, you couldn't buy it with our cart-add button. We could mention it in the rationale, though.

Try the honest version.
