Affiliate disclosure
We're transparent about how we make money. Here's the full story.
The disclosure
The Prescription is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, The Prescription earns from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon link on our site and complete a purchase (of any item, on any Amazon page within the session, not just the product we recommended), we earn a small commission. There is no additional cost to you.
What we don't do
We don't accept brand sponsorships. We don't accept PR product samples. We don't accept paid placement. We don't have agreements with any product manufacturer to prioritize their products. Our only commercial relationship is the standard Amazon Associates program — the same one used by millions of personal blogs and review sites.
How this affects our recommendations
It doesn't. The Amazon Associates commission is the same percentage regardless of which product we recommend within a category. We have no financial incentive to push a specific brand. We pick on merit.
Identifying affiliate links
Every Amazon link on our site is an affiliate link. Look for the tag parameter (`?tag=sfpost20-20`) in the URL. Clicking does not commit you to buying anything — it just opens the product page on Amazon.
